On the Hot Seat- Hem Joshi

You will find him sitting at his desk and working in a very committed manner.

He needs no one telling him to complete his work or a supervisor reminding him about a task.

We welcome Mr Hem Chandra Joshi, Senior Manager- Logistics on the hot seat this month. A very energetic, self-motivated and dedicated person. Here he humbly shares his stint with Ceasefire and the challenges faced by him during his long journey

Since when have you been associated with Ceasefire?

My journey with Ceasefire started in February 2006 as an Accounts officer in Ashok Nagar Branch, New Delhi. My role included Accounts activities, majorly- Sales Acceptance for Home Shop 18 and other Warehouse activities.

Today, at this point, I feel very privileged to be a part of this wonderful organization.

I have, as of now, successfully completed 13 years with Ceasefire. And the journey, so far, has been very exciting and has given me a chance to learn and grow both as a person and as a professional.

Could you please share your professional and personal background?

I hold a Masters in commerce from Kumaon University. Before joining Ceasefire Industries, I had worked with 3 firms.

From an Accounts officer to Senior Manager- Logistics, my journey in Ceasefire was both challenging and fruitful. Here, I am responsible for Warehouse Management, Assisting in Accounting, Logistics and Project Management.

On the family front, I am married to Lata, who is an excellent home-maker. I am blessed to have her as my life partner. We are blessed with a daughter- Manavi studying in 1st Standard.

My father Mr Prayag Dutt Joshi is a retired Govt. officer from Irrigation Dept. and my mother is a perfect homemaker- Mrs Prema Joshi.

What are your interests, how do you unwind?

It is utmost important that you spare time for your family every day. I love spending my leisure time with my daughter and wife.

My interests include watching TV, playing cricket and volleyball, and travelling.

How do you manage work-life balance?

I get a lot of support from my team in maintaining a good work-life balance. I make sure that I complete my daily work activities in the office so that I can spend time with my family.

A Message for new Ceasefire employees

Ceasefire gives you the opportunity to work and grow.

There is no short cut to success. So, grab the opportunities, work hard to develop your skills and grow.
